Hasse Persson

In 1977, at the height of the disco craze, a club opened at 254 West 54th Street in New York City. Studio 54 was the world's most renowned and legendary disco. Swedish photo journalist Hasse Persson and his camera were frequent club guests from 1977–80 and the photos he took there have become legendary.  I love the utter debauchery and hedonistic fun captured by Persson's eye and lens, and what fun he must have had doing this!

Age

Age is a challenge, and I'm acutely aware of the pace of time and it's effect on my parents' lives.  But age can also be beautiful: textures, wisdom, love.

This is Kirsty, my beautiful niece and kind and loving cousin to my monkies.  Photos from July 2012 - hot and lazy Warsaw summer.

Can't get enough

Of this little girl.  My Rosie.

Josh Wool

One of my great inspirations of the moment is the work of Josh Wool.  His portraits bring a gritty emotion to the table.  Through the 'aged' feel of his work you almost sense a depth and weight to each subject's life.  More about Josh on his web site
